Job Summary
Oversee and lead temporary labor and warehouse associates on loading and unloading trucks, managing product transfers, inbound trailers, and pick lists. Direct work crews through start-to-finish processes while completing paperwork for Bills of Ladings and transfer documents. Operate forklifts and furniture pickers to transport product, scan inventory barcodes, and sort materials on racks according to predetermined sequences. Assemble district orders from stock and stage them for truck loading, ensuring inventory movement is properly recorded in the management system. Report loss and damage to the distribution manager and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US
- Must pass drug screening (does not include THC) as a condition of employment
- This position is subject to a background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities
- Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis or 100 pounds with a partner
- Able to operate equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Previous warehousing experience preferred; priority consideration will be given to candidates with more and relevant experience; experience as a team lead preferred
- Computer skills-able to utilize Microsoft office and inventory software
- Forklift Operator certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided
