Job Summary

Refurbish espresso machines using the Pro Renewal Process, organize and fulfill shipments, take product photos, order parts, and handle local equipment installations. Observe and debug mechanical systems to identify root causes of problems before they impact clients, then revise system design to prevent recurrence. Provide expert 1-1 consultations and technical support while maintaining high attention to detail in spatial organization and task prioritization. This dynamic role offers a cross-section of warehouse operations within a rapidly growing Austin-based coffee equipment e-commerce company, fostering career growth and specialization aligned with future company needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Have previous coffee tech or auto tech experience or training
  • Be able to accurately observe and debug cause and effect relationships in mechanical systems
  • Be able to concisely articulate why they think something is broken and how to fix it
  • You are organized spatially (tools and physical processes) and mentally (priorities and tasks to complete)
  • You have previous customer service experience or training
  • You can empathize well - You can visualize how it would look and feel to stand in someone else's shoes and use that information to better serve them
  • You say what you will do and you do what you say - You take steps to solve a client's problem, and where you make commitments, you follow through on them exceeding or meeting the expectations you set
  • Can professionally and positively interact with customers, even when they're unfair or otherwise uncomfortable to work with
  • No weekends

  • You are receptive to in-the-moment feedback and can see it as a good opportunity to learn and grow vs. avoid because it feels uncomfortable in the moment; Can know that having a 'bad outcome' doesn't mean that they are being threatened or are otherwise a 'bad person'
  • Our preferred candidate will have strong technical and client service acumen or, at the very least, high potential to develop in those areas
