Job Summary
Capricor is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products, with responsibility to lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, ensure GMP-compliant operations, maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits, enforce safety regulations, coordinate with manufacturing and other departments, develop and implement SOPs, handle deviations and investigations for non-conforming products, manage the receipt, release, packaging, and shipment of GMP materials, monitor storage temperatures, and identify opportunities for process improvement in warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years related experience in a GMP regulated warehouse / materials management
- 2+ years experience with Inventory Management Systems/ERP environment in a biotech or life sciences environment
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or lead roles, and inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
- Effective leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lift up 50lbs
