Job Summary
Lead a warehouse team by assigning work, providing clear instructions, and holding associates accountable for daily order picking and shipping. Ensure all customer orders are picked and shipped accurately within required timeframes while maintaining inventory accuracy through detailed record-keeping. Operate cherry pickers, forklifts, and other material handling equipment as necessary, and uphold safety standards to ensure the facility remains accessible and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. Identify operational discrepancies, resolve issues, and improve processes to prevent future problems. Maintain accurate documentation for all activities and provide reports to management. This role requires proven supervisory experience, proficiency in warehouse software, and the ability to physically handle demands including lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Lead or similar supervisory role in a warehouse environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in using warehouse software and systems
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to physically handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance
- High school diploma or equivalent
