Job Summary
Lead a team of warehouse associates in receiving materials, picking piece parts and larger work orders, and ensuring accurate, on-time order fulfillment. Delegate tasks across the receipt, stocking, and pick workflow while maintaining high productivity and safety standards. Oversee material movement, manage inventory through cycle counts, and troubleshoot receiving and picking errors using root cause analysis. Train new associates, coach the team, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with sales, account coordinators, and production staff to resolve fulfillment issues and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment. Operate electric pallet jacks and stand-up reach trucks while adhering to SOPs and 5S protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2-3 years' experience in a warehouse shipping environment
- supervisory or lead role experience
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Ability to use simple math
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in warehouse management principles
- Proficiency in warehouse management best practices
- Microsoft Office Experience
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a repetitive basis
- Ability to work on feet 8+ hours a day
- Operate an electric pallet jack
