Job Summary
Oversee daily outbound shipping activities by coordinating loads, verifying product quantities, and managing trailer loading for customer deliveries. Utilize SAP systems to process outbound transactions, maintain accurate inventory records, and resolve discrepancies using RF scanners. Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts to transfer materials between departments and perform daily equipment inspections. Provide daily direction to team members, assign manpower, and ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards. Conduct workplace inspections, lead incident investigations, and support lean manufacturing initiatives to improve operational efficiency. Work a shift from 7 AM to 7 PM as an hourly employee.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience
- Experience in outbound shipping operations
- Valid forklift license
- Experience operating counterbalance and reach trucks
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, drivers, and internal departments
- Strong knowledge of outbound shipping processes and warehouse operations
- SAP experience with inventory management, shipping transactions, and warehouse processes
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of WHMIS and workplace safety regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary education
- Experience in a lead or supervisory capacity
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, 5S, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices
