Job Summary
Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of warehouse operations, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation. Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to ensure optimal shift logistics, while inspiring team members to improve Key Performance Indicators. Assist in employee orientation, promote health and safety methods, and manage day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets and bills of lading. Complete and submit daily reports to propose action plans that enhance operations effectiveness and service levels. Perform other duties as assigned in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
- Valid forklift operator's license certified
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
- One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
- One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
- One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective leadership skills
- Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Excellent organizational skills
- Bilingual (For Québec locations only)
