Job Summary
Coach and train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers, conducting Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and annual recertification training. Safely operate equipment to move products, load and unload materials, and store items in designated areas while performing daily safety inspections. Complete paperwork per standard operating procedures, participate in inventory/cycle counts, and report variances. Ensure the facility remains inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs by following product rotation procedures and reviewing daily production reports. Serve as backup to the supervisor and other warehouse roles as needed. This 1st shift Monday-Thursday role requires a licensed forklift operator with at least two years of warehouse experience and six months of leadership training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience
- 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience and/or training in a distribution environment
- Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
