Job Summary
Plan, assign, and direct the work of warehouse associates within a designated area to ensure company and customer standards for service, quality, safety, and productivity are met. Report defective or damaged products and follow up with corrective action. Manage responsibilities including loading, unloading, forklift operation, and product relocation. Handle daily inspections for equipment and inbound/outbound trailers, checking shipments for compliance and reporting quantity or quality issues. Maintain communication with Traffic and Customer Service Coach. Work the 1st shift in temperatures ranging from -20°F to 100°F while wearing provided PPE. Lift up to 40 lbs. Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a warehouse and/or logistics environment
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
