Job Summary
Unload trucks and check in merchandise, then prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing them in the delivery area. Sort items on racks or bins according to organizational standards, open crates, and maintain inventory controls by collecting stock orders and recording received or distributed amounts. Assist in counting physical inventory, prepare materials for distribution, and ensure the work environment remains safe, clean, and organized by sweeping, dusting, and mopping shelves and pallet areas. Operate forklifts for various tasks including maintenance while wearing proper safety equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to read and write English
- Basic math skills
- Be able to lift 30-75
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks
- Must be able to work long periods standing at a time
- Must wear proper safety equipment
