Job Summary
Read production schedules, customer orders, and work orders to determine items for movement, gathering, or distribution. Fill requisitions for materials and tools, then convey items from receiving or production areas to storage or designated zones. Record received or distributed materials, enter data into computers, and weigh or count items to ensure conformance with standards. Open containers, sort materials on racks by size, type, or product code, and assemble Route Sales People's orders for pallets or shelves. Maintain inventory records and update spreadsheets as necessary. This part-time role in Seaford, DE offers a $15.53/hour rate, Monday-Friday schedule with some Saturdays, and includes elective benefits like dental, vision, and 401k contributions after 30 days of service.
Required Qualifications
- Able to read, write, understand and speak English
- Must pass a job-related assessment with a score of 70% or better
- Display common sense, understanding, working knowledge of product codes and warehouse procedures
- Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence and a clean driving record
- Must be able to constantly reach and use fine manipulation
- Must be able to frequently walk, bend, squat, balance and lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to minimally sit, kneel, crawl, and climb
