Job Summary
Pick up and deliver fleet vehicles, parts, and tools while operating machinery in compliance with safety regulations. Maintain inventory controls, perform preventive maintenance on warehouse vehicles, and execute light repairs such as battery changes. Keep shelves, pallet areas, and workstations clean, complete daily paperwork, and wash fleet vehicles as needed. Capable of lifting 50 pounds and working outdoors in adverse conditions, with at least 60% of duties involving driving. Forklift certification and a high school diploma are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Pass Initial drug screening & background check
- Maintain company standards post-employment for background checks, criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing, as required
- Communicate clearly both written and verbally
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Ability to maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
- Capable of working individually and as a team with other employees
- Ability to adjust to changing work schedule and work overtime
- Ability to work safely outdoors and under adverse environmental and weather conditions
- Capable of frequently lifting at least 50 pounds; manual labor may be required
- Ability to operate hand/power tools
- Ability to work from elevated platforms, ladders or truck beds
