Job Summary
Operate and maintain light desktop or floor-type machine tools and equipment such as small lathes, power grinders, extruders, drills or presses; set up and adjust machines; inspect with gauges to verify tight tolerances; some machines may be CNC; monitor and validate quality per statistical/process control or other programs; participate in manufacturing/ distribution center operations including assembly, machine, processing, packaging, and/or product distribution; report machine faults or abnormalities and contribute improvements to methods and processes; may involve product transport, receiving, inventory control, or storage within the distribution center.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing/production operations
- Vocational training and/or certification may be required
