Job Summary
The Warehouse Janitorial Associate cleans and maintains warehouse break rooms and restrooms. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and wiping furniture, restroom sanitizing, break room cleaning (microwaves, counters, sinks, refrigerators, tables, chairs), waste disposal, and restocking. Additional duties include ordering supplies and shipping to other locations, and operating charging lifts and forklifts. Requires basic chemical knowledge, ability to work on feet for extended periods, safety compliance, and willingness to work evenings. Education: high school diploma or GED required; preferred IN driver’s license. Prior cleaning experience is a plus. Schedule: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm (25 hours weekly, flexible). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to work on their feet for an extended period of time
- Must have basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses
- Must be knowledgeable and familiar with all aspects of custodial service
- Must be willing to work evenings
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have some computer experience and the ability to learn the supply ordering system
- Preferred: Valid IN driver's license
