Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning and sanitization of warehouse floors, walls, and equipment to remove debris, dust, and spills. Empty trash bins, sweep, mop, and dust surfaces to prevent slip hazards and allergens. Monitor cleaning supply inventory, stock shelves, and maintain janitorial equipment like vacuums and floor scrubbers. Follow safety protocols, wear required PPE, and report hazards or malfunctions to supervisors. Collaborate with staff to coordinate schedules and maintain records of cleaning activities and inventory logs. Work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with coworkers and supervisors
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all
