Job Summary
Track and report non-conforming product, verify quantity of items received against purchase or sales orders, and accurately document the movement of back-ordered items. Put away products from containers, change item locations to accommodate spacing, and perform physical inventory cycle counts on a regular basis. Load and unload trucks for delivery while maintaining a clean warehouse area and supporting customer service and sales departments by locating product components. Ensure sales records and actual store inventory match up, produce inventory reports for the store manager regularly, and evaluate current practices to implement new techniques for improved efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math and computer skills to know Excel/Google Sheets
- Valid work authorization in the USA
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse/supply chain
- Prior experience with warehouse equipment, such as Narrow Aisle Turret Truck, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks
- Ability to lift greater than 35-50 lbs or more
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with cabinet fabrication, terminology, or similar
- Ability to work well in the warehouse under pressure
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks with constant interruptions
