Job Summary
Warehouse Inventory Specialist responsible for all inventory control-related activities at Exeter, PA. Develop and execute the location’s inventory management strategy to control costs within budget, maximize working capital, and ensure timely availability of materials for production. Manage and maintain material and stocked product inventory and stock locations; perform perpetual inventory counts and accuracy checks; minimize overstocks and obsolete materials; ensure proper receipt and handling of goods; ensure materials are ready for production as required; provide routine management information on inventory performance; implement improvements to reduce inventory, cut costs, and optimize working capital.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six months+ warehouse-related experience
- General arithmetic skills
- Ability to recognize bin-numbered locations
- Ability to work with others
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends
