Job Summary
Unload incoming materials, verify items and quantities, and create load IDs in the computer warehouse system. Scan pallet labels to move items to proper locations and pick customer tickets using correct code dates and procedures. Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts, Hi-Lo reach trucks, and stand-on pallet jacks while keeping products rotated by date and code. Maintain accurate record keeping, document control, and inventory flow setup during startup activities. Support warehouse operations by assisting with product rework, leaker management, and general facility needs. Work effectively in both ambient and refrigerated settings while adhering to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to the Syracuse Cold Storage (SCS) facility for a minimum of two weeks of training or participate in an approved carpooling arrangement.
- Must be flexible regarding training schedules and shift assignments during the onboarding period.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of GED or High School Diploma preferred.
- Prior PIT experience preferred.
