Job Summary
Load and unload trucks, check incoming loads, and write receiving slips. Store supplies in proper areas, unload new equipment, and move it through the plant to production zones. Print labels and maintain inventory records while performing general housekeeping and cleanup duties. Adhere to all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements and complete job rotations as assigned. Complete necessary paperwork and SAP functions, including basic math calculations. Obtain a class II tow motor certification if required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
- Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability and willingness to obtain a class II tow motor certification
- Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently
- Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry 20 pounds or greater with back and legs
- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with rapid hand and eye coordination to move product on a conveyor and/or other processing equipment
- Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently
- Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours
- Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees
Desired Qualifications
- Machine Operator experience
- Experience in a manufacturing setting
- RF Scanner experience
