Job Summary
Manage blood collection equipment and supplies including boxes, labels, and canteen items. Prepare blood collection kits per established directives. Take inventory and order supplies from the warehouse, maintaining the collections' supply and equipment area. Fill order requisitions from mobile and fixed sites. Interact positively with internal and external customers. Drive blood collection vehicles to load and unload required supplies where applicable. Work a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, and holidays. Starting rate is $18.73/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Current, valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to carry moderate weight
- Operational flexibility to meet sudden and unpredictable needs
- Ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds of weight; reach, bend, kneel, climb, push and pull; work in tight spaces
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools and work with a variety of chemicals and solvents
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
- Must be available for early mornings, late nights, and some holidays
- Must be able to work a variable schedule
