Job Summary
Inventory Control Specialist responsible for effectively managing inventory, performing cycle counts, investigating and resolving outbound back orders, making inventory adjustments, maintaining adequate stock levels, and resolving discrepancies in reported quantities and locations. Responsibilities include coordinating with sales, warehouse, and customers; analyzing inventory concerns for remedial action; performing routine clerical duties (data entry, answering phones, assisting customers); serving as back-up auditor for outbound orders; training new hires on product placement and usage; leading others in safe work practices; and performing miscellaneous job-related duties.
Required Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years of inventory control experience required.
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Willing and able to operate Material Handling Equipment, specifically Stock Pickers.
- Ability to receive, stock, and/or pick goods.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Microsoft office experience, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Database management experience.
- Ability to effectively manage and communicate through email on a routine, daily basis.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time, without stress.
- Must have reliable daily transportation to branch location.
