WAREHOUSE INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST

Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and addressing discrepancies during warehousing operations. Performs cycle counts, work orders, and various inventory checks to answer customer inquiries; enters/updates inventory records to correct discrepancies; serves as liaison for internal/external audits and customer visits; handles customer hold procedures including labeling and relocating items; analyzes hold reports, lot audit reports, and inventory aging reports to take corrective actions; prepares inventory reports for customers or facility needs; operates warehouse equipment and may recover pallets; participates in physical inventories and communicates discrepancies to relevant departments. Requires physical ability to bend, lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally, work in wide temperature ranges, and use scanners/tablets/phones/computers. Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced environment. Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Experience: forklift and inventory experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel strongly preferred.
