Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary
Inventory control responsibilities include conducting inventory cycle counts and physical inventory, compiling and reporting daily/periodic statistics to detect trends and improve overall inventory health, researching variances to determine root cause (process or behavior), counting and reconciling selected part numbers/locations, and assisting in projects with recommendations for process improvements. The role requires forklift experience, proficiency with Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel, ability to read safety and operating manuals, data entry into WMS, and producing routine reports. EEOC-compliant essential functions criteria apply; the position is on-site in Carson, Compton, or Torrance, CA, with opportunities for diverse shifts and schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
- Minimum 6 months related experience and/or training
- Experience operating a forklift
- PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to research, track issues through the WMS system and make logical conclusions as to the root cause of defects
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Must be able to accurately count and record key data in WMS or other systems
