Job Summary
Warehouse Associate role with two possible tracks: Inventory Control (review and reconcile inventory, identify shortages, maintain records, operate MHE) or Warehouse Clerk (verify product accuracy, resolve discrepancies, communicate with internal/external contacts, operate MHE). May be moved across SC3/SC1/SC2 roles as needed. Emphasizes safety culture, independent work, analytical/mathematical abilities, computer proficiency (Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel, WMS), teamwork, and housekeeping. Starts 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday; first shift in Staples Supply Chain;requires ability to lift 70-100 lbs, pass drug screen, and other safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to lift, push or pull 70-100 pounds
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed
- Ability to operate or be trained to operate Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Cherry Picker, Turrets (MHE)
- Basic English language skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to wear safety shoes
- 1+ year of related warehouse experience preferred
- MHE certification or ability to become certified
- Experience with inventory control and warehouse operations
