Job Summary
Perform cycle counts, maintain records, monitor inventory transactions, generate reports as needed/requested, audit inbound and outbound shipments, and perform a variety of warehouse duties in support of all Distribution Center operations. 1st Shift-7:00am-3:30pm- $18.35/hr. Responsibilities include reviewing inventory levels by vendor/category/product; maintaining inventory levels per standards; participating in cycle count programs; maintaining variance records; ensuring accuracy of all inventory transactions; providing feedback on root causes of discrepancies; maintaining shipping documents; managing Back Orders Report; collaborating with internal departments; maintaining overstock Excel file; palletizing and storing inventory correctly.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED required
- Experience in the inventory control and auditing procedures
- Administrative experience including Excel, Microsoft Office experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong Customer Service Skills: ability to handle challenging issues as they arise
- Forklift Experience preferred (will train in-house)
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 40-50 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift
- Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 26 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/processes/training)
- Complete cycle counts and ensure consistency, accuracy, and research all operational problems in inventory
