Job Summary
Conduct inventory cycle counts and manage special inventory projects within the main distribution center. Safely operate a stand-up reach forklift to minimize material 'can't finds' and ensure accuracy/integrity of inventory while working directly with the Inventory Supervisor. Perform physical tasks including crouching, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and twisting to lift up to 50+ lbs, and review computer images and written documents using NEFCO's ERP software. Work Monday through Friday for 40 hours in various climate conditions.
Required Qualifications
- demonstrated experience safely operating a stand-up reach forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Ability to use NEFCO's ERP software system
- Must have a positive, hard-working attitude
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently and little supervision
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in various climate conditions such as cold, heat, humidity for a long period of time
- Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twist for lifting
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents
- Analytical ability including basic math skills
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook a plus
