Job Summary
Verify product paperwork and ensure compliance with HACCP policies during receipt or shipment. Perform up-stacking or down-stacking of product for storage, loading, and inventories. Maintain an absentee rate of 5% or less while adhering to safety and security procedures. Work the 1st shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Newlon Warehouse in Fort Smith, AR. This role supports Bachoco OK Foods, a leading chicken producer, in consistently producing high-quality products for the U.S. market.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
