Job Summary
Warehouse II Order Packer at SanMar performs unloading/loading of trailers, designation and adjustment of storage areas, and verification of product inventory against logs and reports. Responsibilities include operating powered lift equipment, storing and locating inventory for shipment, directing movement to staging, resolving discrepancies, maintaining and updating databases, and assisting with returns, invoicing, tagging shipments, and generating reports. The role requires maintaining a safe warehouse environment, meeting deadlines in a high-volume setting, and complying with company policies and legal regulations. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- 1-3 years experience in a warehouse environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities
- Ability to learn Internal Operating System(s) and operate Radio Frequency (RF) unit
- Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work efficiently, with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient typing and data entry skills
- Demonstrates ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require
- Ability to work in high-demand, high-volume environment and meet deadlines
- Comprehend verbal and written instructions
- Able to work both independently and within a team
- Mandatory overtime as required, which may include weekends
