Job Summary
Prioritize and pick materials to fill orders, stage product for loading, and designate stock by product line to allow sufficient space for overflow. Load and unload delivery trucks, handling tires and products weighing up to 50 pounds, while operating powered industrial vehicles like forklifts and pallet jacks safely. Assist in administrative tasks including verifying incoming and outgoing products for accuracy, compiling reports on damaged or outdated stock, and segregating defective items from inventory flow. Perform periodic facilities maintenance and custodial duties such as cleaning parking lots and loading docks. This general labor position serves as back-up for non-CDL delivery drivers and requires lifting products up to 150 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED degree
- Ability to lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
- Ability to handle tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally stand
- Ability to occasionally walk
- Ability to occasionally sit
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Close vision

- Depth perception
