Job Summary
Receive, select, and load materials; operate forklifts safely and efficiently while performing daily safety checks. Verify order accuracy after packaging and loading, maintain a clean working area, and provide basic customer service to internal and external clients. Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and complete daily tasks while following all safety procedures and OSHA compliance standards. Work in a high-traffic warehouse and yard in physically demanding conditions across all weather. Additional duties are assigned as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
- Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
- Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions
- Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance)
- Familiarity with building materials
- Able to measure and calculate material lengths
