Job Summary
Warehouse I role focusing on prioritizing and picking products to fill orders, staging for loading, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The position involves operating powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers), data entry using hand-held devices, loading/unloading deliveries, managing inventory counts, reporting damaged or out-of-stock items, and maintaining clean and organized warehouse facilities. Strong teamwork, effective communication, and a safety-conscious approach are essential to support order fulfillment and warehouse operations for ATD's distribution network.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- 0-1 year of related experience preferred
- Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers)
- Data entry of product numbers using hand-held devices
- Ability to load/unload delivery trucks and handle tires and heavy items
- Attention to inventory accuracy and reporting of damaged/outdated stock
- Physical ability to lift up to ~50 pounds and occasional heavier items with assistance
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with adherence to safety protocols
