Job Summary
Load and unload pallets and trucks safely, pad and wrap furniture, and build storage pallets and crates. Ensure warehouse facilities remain neat, sweep floors, stock packing material, and compact used boxes. Check off shipments using Bingo and inventories, assist with inventory control, and maintain a clean parking lot. Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and loading apparatus, while lifting and carrying 40-plus pounds regularly. Perform physical labor involving standing, walking, bending, and climbing for extended periods in varying weather conditions. Assist the Facilities Department when needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry 40 plus pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Ability to safely load, secure, and move heavy household goods and equipment
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and loading equipment
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and residential environments
- Ability to safely operate moving equipment, hand tools, and loading apparatus
- Sound judgment within established Company procedures and guidelines
- All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
