Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents. Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks while following safety procedures. Organize and store inventory to maximize space and accessibility, then pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies to management. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and resolve issues promptly. This full-time role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs in a warehouse setting with active equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs safely
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices
- Full-time employment
- Availability for day, early morning, or evening shifts
- Ability to work occasional overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift operator certification
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Familiarity with inventory management software & barcode scanning systems
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with supervisors
