Job Summary

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents. Safely load, unload, and move materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Organize and store inventory in designated locations to optimize space and accessibility. Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping standards. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment. Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily warehouse operations and resolve issues promptly.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, typically up to 50 pounds or more.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
  • Physical strength and stamina to handle and move materials safely and efficiently
  • Attention to detail for verifying shipments, organizing inventory, and preparing orders accurately
  • Technical skill and adherence to safety standards for operating warehouse equipment
  • Communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination with supervisors

Desired Qualifications

  • Forklift operator certification
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
