Job Summary
Receive documents from carriers and verify amounts, then record materials in the POS computer system. Keep shelves stocked with merchandise for customer purchase and promptly deliver products using a box truck or other vehicle. Prepare, package, and ship orders while obtaining proof of delivery from customers. Ensure the work area remains clean and organized, and maintain accurate inventory controls and records. Assist with annual inventories and resolve problems concerning warehousing, shipping, receiving, and issuing. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of warehousing experience
- Knowledge of basic math
- Ability to speak and write English
- Ability to operate forklift, pallet jacks, and dollies
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean Driving Record
- Certification of Forklift operations (Reach Truck and 3-Wheel Forklift)
- Ability to operate a computer and software, including UPS and Federal Express
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop and bend for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more
- Must be able to conduct repetitive motions on a daily basis
