Job Summary
Operate a variety of material handling equipment to move products and materials on and off trucks or throughout the facility while following safety standards. Perform tasks such as putting away palletized units, picking items from rack locations for outbound shipments, recording materials and counts via RF system, loading/unloading pallets, reading work orders, documenting damages, packaging/labeling for shipping, and completing forklift maintenance checks. Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas and assist with battery maintenance as needed. This role requires basic math, ability to read pallet IDs, comfort with cold storage and variable temperatures, and willingness to work a flexible schedule (including weekends).
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to identify products through reading, interpreting, and scanning or manually inputting pallet identification numbers
- Basic math skills
- Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels
