Job Summary
Operate forklifts to load/unload trailers and transport pallets of raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility. Safely move operating supplies and other materials to and from various plant locations while utilizing the Inventory Management System (SAP) effectively. Perform sanitation and light maintenance tasks, including general housekeeping of receiving and shipping docks. Requires minimum two years of relevant warehouse or manufacturing experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and proficiency in reading, arithmetic, and mechanical aptitude. Flexible schedule includes 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) or 3rd shift (11:00pm-7am) Monday through Friday, with overtime, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience
- Experience in a Warehouse and / or Manufacturing / Packaging facility
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in various subjects: reading, arithmetic, inspection and measurements, and mechanical aptitude through computerized testing
- Flexibility and ability to work available shift: 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) Monday to Friday as well as overtime Monday to Friday, weekends and Holidays, as necessary
- 3rd shift (11:00pm-7am)
- Physical ability to manually lift material up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Work experience within a GMP facility
- SAP or other inventory management system experience
- Experience operating 5 high reach truck and slip sheet forklifts in a Warehouse or Manufacturing facility
- Experience at loading intermodal, dry van, and refrigerated units
