Job Summary
Conduct facility cleaning of assigned areas including breakrooms, locker rooms, and freezer/docks. Change batteries where applicable and utilize warehouse equipment to accomplish necessary tasks. Operate equipment safely and communicate with site leadership to complete duties as assigned. Follow established work procedures and maintain productivity levels while bending and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. This role requires previous high-reach forklift or warehouse training and the ability to work in temperatures ranging from +50 to -30 degrees F. Overtime is an essential part of this position due to demand.
Required Qualifications
- Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance on an occasional basis
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Be able to speak and hear for safety and productivity.
- Use scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery.
- Ability to lift overhead.
- Ability to work overtime is an essential part of this position due to demand.
- Drive a registered motor vehicle to satisfy daily requirements.
- Have acceptable and/or correctable vision.
- Work in an atmospheric range of + 50 to - 30 degrees F with a moderate noise level
- Personal interaction and communication required to and from other people is extremely high.
- Good arithmetic and reading skills.
- Understand and follow verbal instructions, written instructions, and company policies.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous high-reach forklift and/or warehouse training
