Job Summary
Read production job tickets and fulfillment pick lists to accurately ship product to customers. Operate forklifts, man-up order pickers, and riding pallet jacks while picking and preparing orders. Pack multi-item orders into boxes, ensuring proper packaging for designated shipping methods. Process shipments through our shipping systems while maintaining safety procedures and clean work areas. Assist in ongoing continuous improvement initiatives. This 1st shift role requires one year of warehouse pick/pack experience and proficiency with order picking equipment.
Required Qualifications
- One year experience in warehouse pick/pack
- Proficient keyboard and computer skills
- Strong counting and reading ability
- General knowledge of shipping carriers and services
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Constant standing and/or moving around
- Frequently lift up to 20 pounds
- Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
- Occasionally bend
- Occasionally squat or kneel
- Comfortable with heights up to five racks
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating forklifts, man-up order pickers and riding pallet jacks preferred
