Job Summary
Join PrimeFlight as a Freight Agent where you will handle cargo packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities include manually loading and unloading cargo, operating handheld barcode scanners, verifying product information, labeling packages, and collaborating with team members to meet scanning and packing goals. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are crucial. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, eligible to work in the U.S., and flexible with shift changes to support 24/7 operations.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, etc.)
- Flexibility to work various shifts that change every 3-4 months, including nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Warehouse or inventory management experience is a plus
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
- Exposure to moderate and high noise levels
- Must perform physical activities including bending, climbing, and crawling
