Job Summary
As a Warehouse Forklift Service Technician II, you will analyze and diagnose forklift equipment problems, recommend and perform necessary repairs, and conduct scheduled maintenance to ensure equipment performance. The role demands maintaining service vehicles and parts inventory, documenting service calls, and adhering to safety procedures. A high school diploma or GED, along with 3 to 5 years of relevant mechanical experience, preferably with forklifts, is required. Technical training or certifications are preferred, and candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment
- Experience with repairing forklifts
- Possesses a valid driver’s license
- Above average communication skills
- Ability to understand service and training manuals
- Can safely operate power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes
