Job Summary
Operate power and non-powered material handling equipment to load and unload trucks, pick, and put away all product types. Maintain thorough knowledge of inventory, stock locations, model numbers, and handling instructions while conducting all functions safely in accordance with policies. Lift and carry product exceeding 50 lbs regularly, including sofas, using proficient safe material handling techniques. Prepare customer orders by operating equipment to meet deadlines. Requires order picker experience; clamp truck experience is an asset. Flexibility for evening and weekend shifts is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Equipment operator experience on order picker
- Ability to prepare customer orders by operating material handling equipment to lift and carry product exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques
- Able to meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends
- Ability to pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick
