Job Summary
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, monitor machine operation during shifts, and perform in-process adjustments as necessary. Maintain equipment for daily use, clean and set up press machines, and report safety hazards within the work environment. Troubleshoot potential issues during production and ensure work areas remain hazard-free. Requires afternoon Monday-Friday shifts from 3:00pm to 11:30pm at Lordco Auto Parts' Port Coquitlam Distribution Center. Certification in order picker, cherry picker, stand-up reach truck, counterbalance, or end rider is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Have order picking experience
- Previous work experience in a warehouse setting
- Must be certified in one or more of the following: order picker, cherry picker, stand up reach truck, stand up counterbalance, and end rider
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot potential issues
- Resourcefulness in learning new manuals and processes
- Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to understand mechanics and technical tasks
- Ability to identify issues or problems in operations or maintenance
Desired Qualifications
- WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification is an asset
