Job Summary
Load outbound trucks, unload and stock inbound merchandise, and pull customer orders from inventory. Safely operate a forklift to handle materials while sweeping the warehouse, cleaning up trash, and observing safety protocols such as lock-out/tag-out procedures. Assist in counting inventory and checking in merchandise from receiving documentation. Read and follow written shipping papers while working in a team environment. Pass the forklift operator test after training. This physically demanding role requires a high school diploma and knowledge of building materials is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write so that written instructions and shipping papers can be easily followed and that corrections and needed information can be easily filled.
- Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
- Must be able to pass our forklift operators test after a normal training procedure.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
