Job Summary
Operates a lift truck on shift, performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles. Moves and places product safely in storage, stages products for outbound loads, and handles loading and unloading of materials. Must maintain safety and housekeeping standards, demonstrate reliable attendance, and effectively communicate instructions. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and experience in a warehouse environment, along with basic computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work required schedule and arrive at work on time.
- Ability and willingness to work voluntary/mandatory overtime during busy season.
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
- Ability to perform basic math in all units of measure.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as receivers and invoices.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to maintain a level of production.
- Ability to complete necessary paperwork neatly and accurately.
- Ability to verify paperwork to ensure customer is receiving correct products.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the workplace.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to identify and correct safety conditions.
Desired Qualifications
- Two years related experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift Certification preferred.
