Job Summary
Operate material handling equipment including sit-down and stand-up forklifts to receive, stage, and load finished products into freezers for shipping. Inspect pallets for integrity and cleanliness, tag items, and scan materials according to pick tickets while checking trailer and product temperatures before loading or unloading. Conduct cycle counts, enter transactions into the computer, and report any damages or discrepancies immediately. Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures, GMPs, and company policies while working in temperatures ranging from -10 to 100 degrees F.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift operator certification (in-house)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in freezer/food manufacturing
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Experience using a computer to enter and look up information
- Shift: A-Shift, 12 hours
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, some Saturdays
- Work in temperatures from -10 degrees to 100 degrees F
- Operate material handling equipment (Sit Down, Stand-Up Forklifts and Pallet Jacks)
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Ensure all GMPs, departmental procedures and company policies are followed within the warehouse
