Job Summary
Operate material handling equipment including sit-down and stand-up forklifts to receive, stage, load, and unload trucks for shipping and receiving. Inspect pallets for integrity and cleanliness, scan materials against pick tickets, and stage items for customer orders. Cycle count inventory, enter transactions into the computer, and report damages or discrepancies to the supervisor immediately. Work in temperatures ranging from -10 to 100 degrees F while following all safety procedures, GMPs, and established warehouse policies. Maintain a clean work area and ensure all documentation and counts remain accurate.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift operator certification (in-house)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in freezer/food manufacturing
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Experience using a computer to enter and look up information
- Shift: A-Shift, 12 hours
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, some Saturdays
- Work in temperatures from -10 degrees to 100 degrees F
- Operate material handling equipment (Sit Down, Stand-Up Forklifts and Pallet Jacks)
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Ensure all GMPs, departmental procedures and company policies are followed within the warehouse
