Job Summary
Operate material handling equipment including sit-down and stand-up forklifts to receive, stage, and load finished products for shipping. Inspect incoming and outgoing pallets for integrity, tag items, and scan materials according to pick tickets. Conduct cycle counts, enter transactions into the computer, and report any damages or discrepancies immediately. Work in temperatures ranging from -10 to 100 degrees F while ensuring all GMPs, safety procedures, and documentation are followed. Maintain a clean work area and process return materials as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift operator certification (in-house)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in freezer/food manufacturing
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Experience using a computer to enter and look up information
- Shift: A-Shift, 12 hours
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, some Saturdays
- Work in temperatures from -10 degrees to 100 degrees F
- Operate material handling equipment (Sit Down, Stand-Up Forklifts and Pallet Jacks)
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Ensure all GMPs, departmental procedures and company policies are followed within the warehouse
