Job Summary
Lead the warehouse on the night shift as First Line Manager for the Waitrose operation in Milton Keynes, overseeing a team to coach, motivate and engage them to achieve the work plan on time while meeting KPIs. Drive performance through coaching, monitor shift performance, and proactively lead the team to deliver high engagement and effective communication. Manage warehouse training requirements and function. Prior experience managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment and delivering continuous improvement projects is required, along with strong planning and on-site engagement skills.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a food operation)
- The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
