Job Summary
Oversee the daily operation of the Miami-area warehouse facility and packing line, lead and motivate a bilingual warehouse and packing staff, manage inbound/outbound shipments and inventory, implement inventory controls, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring quality standards and safety. Responsibilities include conducting internal audits/inspections; documenting best practices; reporting issues related to process, inventory, and order fulfillment; analyzing data to optimize standards, processes, equipment, and materials; delivering staff training; implementing incident response protocols for fulfillment errors; coordinating with sales and customer service to communicate changes or delays; ensuring accurate preparation and shipment of all products; and providing regular performance reports to management. Requires leadership, organization, and a focus on efficiency in a fast-paced fresh-produce environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years related experience and/or training
- bilingual English/Spanish
- strong leadership and team management
- experience in fresh produce operations and repack
- proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- ability to plan, audit, and improve packing/fulfillment processes
- strong communication and analytical skills
- ability to meet deadlines
